In early December 2014, we brought a new member to our pack - Soks, a miniature dahcshund from Poland, kennel ze Sfory Cetkowanej. Thank you Beata Gesinska for trusting him with us!
He was accepted will in our group as he would have always been here.
Last weekend we participated in double national shows in Rakvere.
On Saturday, Ella was BOB and BOB junior getting her last junior certificate. With four shows, we can now confirm her EST J CH title!
Grey was BOB vetean and BOS getting a special prize from organizers as a dog over 10 years old!
On Sunday, Grey stayed at home and Ella was BOB junior and Best Bitch 3.
Thank you all involved, especially judges and organizers of the show!
22.9.14 we took Ups to blood tracking trials and our Grand Old Lady came home with III grade. So now we can officially have her international titles, CIB and CIE confirmed and start planning our trips to Northern countries, where the working result is essential for receiving certificates and confirming titles.
Our Ella (Iiahs Miss Mariella) was first shown in junior classes this weekend. After being three times in a row BOB baby and three times BOB puppy, she continued tradition - taking two junior certificates and being two times BOB and BOB junior on the first possible weekend! Thank you judges for appreciating our little miss!
These shows proved to be successful for our dogs:
Ella (Iiahs Miss Mariella) was BOB baby both days, having excellent descriptions from judges Kresten Scheel and Birte Scheel.
Her older half-sister, Onassis Red Oops Fantazija, owned by Marja-Liisa Kuhalampi, was BOB both days as well as group 1
Thank you judges for appreciating our dogs - excellent start for a new show year!
I have not updated our web page for so long. After Possu crossed the rainbow bridge, I did not want to do anything with the dogs. Love of my life - Bess - gone. Her son Possu - gone. Everything seemed to be a big black hole and to get out from there seemed impossible. But.. I had mated Ups before Possu crossed over...
2.10.2012 Ups gave birth to 4 puppies after eating my nerves for 36 hours. One dappled girl, one dappled boy and two black and tan boys. All puppies very lively and active from the start. Ups is a perfect mother and puppies got all her attention. She made all other dogs leave the kitchen and did not allow them back before all puppies were three weeks old. First it was Grey who was allowed back, a bit later also Mia. Mia proved to be excellent older sister - she took over taking care of the puppies and playing with them, including teaching them everything we do not want our dogs to know like carrying my shoes around etc. I promise, I will update the pictures and webpages of dachshunds at some point. There is one black and tan boy available from this litter as a pet - he is not suitable for shows, nor for breeding. He is with very good character and perfect for hunt. Father of the puppies is Daks-Veg-As Early Morning Coffee, chocolate coloured gentleman from Moscow. Dappled puppies will start their show carreers in March, then you can see more of them.
PS - it might seem that I have given up Irish Wolfhounds. No, we do have plans also for Käpik as well as for Mia. Stay tuned!
Third day was day of specialties. Aramis was only Irish wolfhound we showed, graded excellent and judge was very fond of him. Unfortunately, he injured his paw and could not continue :( Mia was the star of the day - BOS, LT CAC and Lithuanian champion title. Vudi was Best Male 2.
Thank you all involved!
On second day, Vudi was the one shining - he got from judge Krystyna Opara Best of Breed, CACIB and certificate! Grey was Very Good as all other wolfhounds. Other dogs did not participate due to heat.
Results of International Show: Aramis BOB junior, junior certificate and Lithuanian Junior Champion. Grey BOB veteran, LT veteran champion. Vudi Best Dog 2, res-CACIB. Thank you all involved!
We were at Haapsalu national all breeds show today. In terrible heat (+30 degrees C), two of our dogs finished their champion titles: Aramis at his third show, got last junior certificate and was BOS and BOS junior finishing his junior champion title. Mia got BOB and certificate, so we can confirm her EST CH title. As a cherry on top of the cake - Mia was Group 4! Thank you judges! Thank you friends for excellent company!
